About Dr. Elliot Groff
Elliot Groff, DO is an OB/GYN at Women’s Health Domain in Austin Texas. He has special interests in robotic surgery as well as other minimally invasive techniques in gynecologic care in addition to his interest in general obstetrics.
Growing up in the San Antonio area, he earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio prior to moving to Glendale, Arizona for a Masters in Biomedical Science as well as his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. He and his wife, Kristy, then moved to Pensacola, Florida where he completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology through the University of Florida at Ascension Sacred Heart. There he learned to champion his patients and work through often complex medical issues with patience and understanding. During his residency, he earned the award for Outstanding Resident in Gynecologic Oncology from the Society of Gynecologic Oncology.
He holds a Texas Medical license and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Groff enjoys spending time with his wife Kristy and their two cats. He and Kristy are avid foodies, often found seeking the best coffee and food Austin has to offer. With a passion for cycling and the outdoors, Dr. Groff is active in the Austin cycling community.

The doctor himself is amazing! Staff could work on their customer service and tone a little bit. Overall will be returning but I believe the first experience could have been better. The front desk staff wasn’t the kindest and didn’t seem to want to be there.

I went to this doctor for a second opinion on a procedure I was told I had to get. He clearly explained the procedure, read through my medical history to understand my specific needs and ultimately presented me with multiple options. I felt listened to and supported in my decision. The rest of the staff was kind.

Be sure to look the place up online and get directions made if it is your first time. I had a little trouble with directions and was late because of that and the Doctor still was able to take care of me.

Unprofessional is all I can. Would not recommend to anyone. The receptionist asked me what my visit was for by yelling across the waiting area instead of trying to protect my privacy. The doctor told me I needed to loose weight to get rid of my symptoms (literally 10lbs over my recommended weight) and he could not help me. His instructions for lab work were very unclear and I had no idea that they even had a lab on location. I have never been so confused, embarrassed and humiliated by a doctors office before.
