Family medicine suits me because I love interacting with patients of all ages and enjoy promoting preventive medicine. It's especially gratifying to treat more than one generation in a family. I strive to bridge the gaps that exist in healthcare that keep too many from getting the screenings they need. My patients appreciate how thorough and detail-oriented I am. They also appreciate my insistence on treating the whole patient. That means I'm not just looking at physical symptoms. Our overall health encompasses emotional and mental health, our social networks and more. I am married and have four children and two dogs. My hobbies include traveling, reading and exercising and most of all, spending time with my family.
