About Dr. Lauren Phillips
Dr. Lauren Phillips, MD, FACOG, is a Houston native. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University and earned her MD at the University of Texas at Houston where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. After 6 years in Dallas, she moved back to Houston in February of 2012.
Compassionate and personalized health care is Dr. Lauren Phillips motto. At Sugar Land Women’s Care, she gives patients the individualized attention they deserve in a warm and welcoming environment. As a mom, she is passionate about providing excellent prenatal care for both high and low-risk pregnancies. She also specializes in minimally invasive surgery, office procedures, hormone and menopause management, and fertility. She performs Da Vinci robotic surgery at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land hospital. Dr. Phillips is taking new patients of all ages.
Dr. Phillips has a wide variety of clinical interests and particularly enjoys minimally invasive surgery, in-office procedures, obstetrics, abnormal pap smears, adolescent gynecology, menopausal symptom management, hormones, and infertility. She and her team believe that compassion and education are integral to providing care to women of all ages. Dr. Phillips enjoys learning and mastering cutting-edge surgical techniques that benefit her patients. As a mom, Dr. Phillips enjoys being a woman’s advocate during her pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care. She accepts both normal and high-risk pregnancies.

I had a wonderful experience during my yearly women’s checkup with Dr. Lauren Phillips. As a new patient, I felt very comfortable and well cared for from start to finish. She took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made the entire visit feel easy and stress-free. Highly recommend Lauren for anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate provider!

Dr. Phillips was very personable. Although our appointment was very quick given the circumstances of the visit, she listened to my concerns surrounding the reason for the appointment. The wait time was great considering I am a new patient and the office was clean, inviting, and pretty easy to find. I was in need of a new OB/GYN and I don’t see a reason to not return. Looking forward to establishing a relationship/rapport with Dr. Phillips and her staff. Thank you!

I liked this doctor and her office! I read some reviews that were negative and was a little hesitant but I found nothing to be critical of at all. Dr had great bedside manner and was very attentive. Her staff was very helpful and they saw me very quickly. I also scheduled the appt w Zocdoc the night before so really appreciated being able to see a doc on such short notice.

Excellent visit with Dr. Phillips. I arrived right at the start of my appointment, and thought all was done since I had filled out forms on ZocDoc but I was very wrong. Many forms with lots of personal, feminine information was required, a good thing, but it pushed me back 20 minutes. I am sure I cut into her other appointments but she listened to my issues and did all the testing I expected and got me started on a therapeutic direction. While I was reading a pamphlet, supposed to be leaving, I had about 10 more questions so asked to see her again. She was very, very polite about it and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend her.

I used her when I was pregnant and she was great. Always there to make all my worries go away. I went back to my normal gyno after I had my son and they kept failing to give me an appointment so I went back to Dr. Phillips. Made all my worries go away again. I'm sticking with her. Wait time was less than 30 minutes, great staff, very sweet.
