I was called back before I could finish updating my paperwork (they were so fast!) The Dr was amazing! Made me feel completely comfortable and the exam was very quick! And painless. He seems to have a great rapport with the staff & cares about his patients. I will definitely be back to see him and this practice.”

About Dr. Lloyd Bardwell
Dr. L. Richard Bardwell, Jr., received a bachelor's degree from Columbus State University and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Augusta University in Augusta. He completed his internship and residency training at Mercer University, Atrium Health Navicent, in Macon, GA. His peers honored him as the Teaching Resident of the Year on three occasions, and he served as chief resident in 1988. After his residency, Dr. Bardwell remained at Mercer as a clinical professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and as a lecturer in the Department of Physiology at the Mercer University School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a fellow of the American College of OB/GYN, and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American Menopausal Society. His special interests include high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, and the management of perimenopausal and menopausal health issues.

The wait time was impeccable. I wasn’t in the waiting room 5 minutes and a nurse was calling my name. I believe I was in and out in approx 30 minutes tops. My only issue was it was a bit confusing on where to go due to all the construction going on at kennestone.

This was my first ever appointment with this doctor, and I was skeptical at first, but the staff and the doctor made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I ended up loving this office more than I thought. They answered all of my questions and concerns and made me feel more at ease regarding my appointment. This was my first visit and everything was great! The front desk staff was very warm and welcoming. The office was also very nice and clean. I don’t think I would go back. I didn’t feel like I was being heard at all by this doctor and he didn’t give me any details on answers. I think maybe a lady would’ve been better. But he didn’t seem to care about how I felt or tummy worries or concerns. I wouldn’t recommend him..
