“I scheduled this appointment the second I knew my insurance would be effective, due to finances and lack of insurance knowing I would probably need to have a lot of tests done because of how long it had been, and because of the symptoms from the last four years!
Manuel is awesome! He’s friendly, transparent, an incredible listener, and very thorough .. His receptionist? Maybe just having a bad day, but seemed to be a little annoyed towards me in general. I think she was great at her job, just not a “people” person.. at least not with me. It could have just been an off day. We all have them! And to her defense, I always expect customer service to be at the greatest level, so my expectations are pretty high. I have nothing “bad” to say about the Office. This was just the vibe I personally received from her.
Definitely recommend this office and doctor!

About Dr. Manuel Gutierrez Jr.
Manuel F. Gutierrez Jr MD, originally born in Havana, Cuba came to the USA in 1999 when he was 12. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona with a bachelor of science in Physiology and double associates in Psychology and Chemistry. He completed medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and his residency training in Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. He has worked in several different hospitals and organizations in the greater Las Vegas area including the Southern Nevada Health District, Sunrise Hospital, Southern Hills hospital, Carelon health and Hope Christian Health Centers where he continues to work.
When not at work, he spends as much time as possible with his wife Sandra and his 3 young kids (Sofia (2), Sebastian (1), Manuel(0)) We love hiking, gardening, cooking and playing video games.

After over a decade of medical negligence Dr. Gutierrez was a breath of fresh air. He listened attentively to ALL of my concerns no matter how trivial, scheduled testing and labs on my very first visit, and didn’t downplay my chronic pain. I’ve never had a doctor spend so much time in the room with you; most of the time they come in half heartedly answer your questions for 10 minutes and rush out. Dr. Gutierrez spent SO much time in that room with me and didn’t wrap things up until it seemed like I was content with having my needs met. The waiting room was small but clean and comfy and the receptionist was also friendly. At the time however, it did seem like she may have been the only front desk worker so it may be a bit of a wait before you can speak to her. Luckily, there’s a kiosk to check-in on so it’s not really that big of a deal to fill out your paperwork. Overall, an 11/10 business. This is a man that cares so greatly about his patients’ health.

This was my second visit, and I came back because of how great the first experience was. Dr. Gutierrez is patient, thorough, and has a way of informing you without talking at you—which I really appreciate. He takes the time to listen, explain, and make you feel like a partner in your own care. He’s knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and refreshingly human.
The front desk staff were also warm and accommodating. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. It’s rare to find a medical office where both the care and the customer service are this solid. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Gutierrez. I had an urgent matter and was able to get a same day appointment with him. His front office staff girl Karmen was so nice and took me back immediately.
When Dr. G walked in he had a huge smile and started talking like we had known each other for years. I’m so grateful I found him when I did. He was very thorough, went through labs I recently had run and answered all my questions. I see Drs on a regular basis and he is impressive. I look forward to being a longtime patient of his. If you don’t want to waste your time Dr hopping go visit him.

What a very good experience with a Las Vegas doctor!
I am an RN here in town and I have a very good idea of how the healthcare system is. He was refreshing. He listened. He spent time. He made recommendations. His knowledge base made us feel at ease and confident.
By the end of my husbands visit I had decided to make a new patient appointment with him. I’ll be changing my own doctor because I am impressed with his care.

From the outset, Dr. Gutierrez demonstrated a level of care and thoroughness that is rare to find. Dr. G is awesome! I never write reviews, but Dr. Gutierrez is so wonderful I had to let it be known. I have never been to a doctor’s office for the first time without them immediately giving me a clipboard and thick stack of papers to fill out.
But, not at this office!
I was amazed at the simplicity of digitally checking in with the iPad, and even scanning his ID and insurance card with the iPad. This digital process is way easier, for everyone!
We waited under 5 mins to be seen. This
Dr is a very knowledgeable physician. He knows what he is doing and that is apparent. He took so much care in listening to my husband’s health issues. Our appointment was at 4:15pm, he probably came in the room around 4:30, and by the time we walked out of there they should have been closed, it was after 6:15pm. Dr. had been listening and discussing with my husband and I the entire time. He was amazing!
The positive experience was a breath of fresh air for us. My husband is now confident in his health journey with CHF thanks to Dr G. We also struggled to find in network provider but no issue here!
