About Dr. Megan App

Dr. App aspired to become a physician since she was 10 years old. At the time, her 2-month-old brother suffered from hernias. Luckily, she had a neighbor, a female physician, who was caring enough to explain her brother’s condition along with the surgery he would have to have. Her counsel helped Megan greatly. She decided right then she wanted to study medicine and become a physician. She also grew up around medicine and health care because of her father, who was a family physician. Dr. App is married and the oldest of 6 children. She has 11 nieces and nephews and loves to hike and travel.

The office was suuuuuper slow checking in patients, but the actual provider was fantastic and well worth the wait.
I have never had a physician be so exceedingly rude. She treated me as if I was not paying for her services, or that she was performing them gratis. Dr. App spoke to me as if I barely knew how to read or put on a gown. If I hadn't already made the appointment I would have left after her introduction. I will NEVER go back to the NorthShore system for any reason. She was humiliating as a caregiver let alone a board-certified doctor. If people that have less resources frequent this establishment as it is a public health hub I feel for them. May she NEVER need anything from anyone and if she does, may her experience inform her of her own bedside manner.
