Dr. Rachel Zilles, DO

Dr. Rachel Zilles, DO

OB-GYN
1687 Woodlane Dr, Ste 101 & 102, Woodbury, MN
After almost 10 years away for graduate school and medical training, Dr. Zilles has returned to the East Side of St. Paul to practice medicine and put down roots. She is a licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Zilles earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master's in Medical Sciences from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of St. Thomas. About her work as an OBGYN, she says: "While delivering babies and doing procedures are what drew me to the profession, I get great joy from providing care for women throughout the different phases of their lives. One of my mentors said it best, ?every woman is a snowflake.' No treatment plan or disease course is one size fits all. I truly enjoy establishing a trusting patient-physician relationship and working through patients' health issues together to find a plan that fits their unique life and goals. As a recent breast cancer survivor and having been on the other side of the medical system, I find myself able to relate to patients in a whole new way. Patients are their best advocates, and it is my job to listen." In her time away from caring for patients, Dr. Zilles enjoys spending time with friends and family, being active whether at the gym, snowboarding, or playing sports (former college hockey player-Go Tommies!), attending sporting events, going to concerts, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
