Castle Hills Family Practice is a full-service clinic, catering to the medical and surgical needs of the whole family, from newborns to the elderly! We offer same-day appointments when possible. Focusing on evidence-based, conservative, patient-centered, preventative health care helps my patients minimize the devastating consequences that can occur if disease states are allowed to progress.
A visit to Castle Hills Family Practice is more than just prescribing medicine. It's about giving you the tools to live a healthier, longer life. When you come in, we will patiently listen to your concerns and then create a plan to help you get on the path to good health. Our philosophy is to provide excellent, competent medical care based on compassion and many years of experience, treating multitudes of patients in the San Antonio area.
I earned my Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern and completed my internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Texas, San Antonio.

I scheduled an appointment for 10:30AM. It took about 50 minutes to be seen by the nurse, and then about another 20 minutes to be seen by the doctor. When the doctor showed up, he was knowledgeable, quick and to the point. I was out after another 15 minutes.

Dr. Palmer was incredibly rude to me during our appointment and coded what he told me was general blood work in a way that my insurance won't accept.
His staff has offered to help fix the issue with the lab, but it's been months now, and I super doubt that will happen. So yeah. Blue Cross Blue Shield holders beware!!!
Also, if you're filling stuff out in ZocDoc, know that literally won't matter to them at all. You'll need to go to their website to fill out all the forms again. Or come an hour early to do it in the waiting room.
I've never left a review on anything before, EVER! But the treatment I received here was so incredibly disheartening that I felt I had to warn people.

i was seen in a timely manner. I went to get my blood drawn and the workers were very unprofessional they tooky ID and medical card and never gave it back! I had to go all weekend without my license! I couldn't do my bank business either. I was distraught the whole weekend
