Looking for a more personal, unhurried approach to primary care?
I am a Board-Certified Internist and Pediatrician, trained at Mount Sinai (NYC) and Albany Medical Center. I founded my independent practice in Worcester in 2002 with a focus on thoughtful, patient-centered care. In 2023, I transitioned to a Direct Primary Care model to provide more accessible, relationship-based care without the constraints of insurance billing.

This is a membership-based, self-pay practice. I offer new patient visits so you can experience this model before deciding to join. Join the membership within 10 days and your fee will be applied towards membership.

I do not bill or interact with insurance plans.
I do not participate in HMO/EPO plans requiring referrals.
You should maintain insurance for services outside the practice (labs, imaging, specialists, hospitalization).

Dr. Hamawi has been our family physician for 15 years. She has always listened and spent extra time ion my appointments. Never once in all the years have I felt rushed or ignored. We have the utmost respect for Dr. Hamawi and as a family have stayed on with her as Direct Primary Care.

I have been a patient of Dr Hamawi along with my 5 children for 20+ years. Dr Hamawi is an excellent doctor, cares for her patients as if we were her own family. Throughout the years If in between normal visits I had any concerns or questions I have always been able to reach her through message (online patient portal) or voicemail and was sure to get a call back or message returned from Dr Hamawi herself. She takes her position seriously and does her job with the upmost professionalism. I would refer her over and over again to anyone seeking care for themselves or child/children.
