For over 20 years, I resisted corporate medicine to keep you—not insurance companies—at the heart of my work. In 2023, I transitioned to Direct Primary Care, leaving insurance behind to restore trust in doctor-patient relationships.

We offer transparent, membership-based pricing for self-pay patients. New patient visits let you experience our care before committing.
Important: We don't accept or bill insurance, provide superbills, or work with HMO/EPO plans that require referrals. You'll still need insurance for care outside our office.
Our apologies, but we are not permitted to accept patients who have MassHealth as a primary insurance, even for private pay because we have a contract with Mass Health. Our Mass Health panel is closed and we are not accepting new Mass Health patients.

Dr. Hamawi has been our family physician for 15 years. She has always listened and spent extra time ion my appointments. Never once in all the years have I felt rushed or ignored. We have the utmost respect for Dr. Hamawi and as a family have stayed on with her as Direct Primary Care.

I have been a patient of Dr Hamawi along with my 5 children for 20+ years. Dr Hamawi is an excellent doctor, cares for her patients as if we were her own family. Throughout the years If in between normal visits I had any concerns or questions I have always been able to reach her through message (online patient portal) or voicemail and was sure to get a call back or message returned from Dr Hamawi herself. She takes her position seriously and does her job with the upmost professionalism. I would refer her over and over again to anyone seeking care for themselves or child/children.
