I am a board-certified OB/GYN with decades of experience caring for women through every stage of life, from adolescence through pregnancy, menopause, and beyond. I did my my medical training exclusively in the boroughs of New York. It included one year of pediatric residency in New York followed by four years of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency, where I served as Chief Resident during my final year. Throughout my career, I have cared for women with both routine and complex needs, including annual exams, Pap smears and cervical cancer screening, contraception and family planning, infertility, endometriosis, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, PCOS, hormonal concerns, menopause, sexually transmitted infections, and pregnancy care. I provide prenatal care, deliveries, postpartum care, and management of both high-risk pregnancies and infertility concerns, with careful monitoring and coordination when additional specialty care is needed. I have extensive experience evaluating and treating female urinary incontinence and have performed more than 1,200 incontinence procedures. Depending on the patient’s needs, treatment may include medication, conservative therapy, or surgical intervention. Urinary leakage is common, but it does not have to be something you simply live with. When surgery is needed, I favor minimally invasive approaches whenever appropriate, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures. These techniques can often reduce pain, shorten recovery time, minimize scarring, and help patients return to normal activities sooner. I work closely with our Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner to provide coordinated, compassionate care. I believe patients should understand their diagnosis, know their options, and feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to combine experience, careful evaluation, and respect for each patient’s preferences so we can choose the treatment plan that is right for her.
