I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University, where I also completed my undergraduate studies. My residency training was completed at Centra Health. My practice philosophy is centered on compassion, and my ultimate goal is to develop mutual health improvement plans that offer patients hope for better health in the future. I believe that building a long-lasting relationship with a primary care physician one trusts is the foundation to healthy living. Each patient should have a physician who knows his or her history best and is able to give meaningful, evidence-based advice that also takes into account the patient as a whole: physically, mentally, and spiritually. My number one health tip is to make time to take care of yourself because no one else will. Outside of work, I enjoy playing with my Yorkipoo Yuki, baking, gardening, exercising, and watching Asian dramas.
