Getting to know Abby Jeffers

Hi! First, I want to acknowledge that looking for a therapist is a brave and important step towards your wellness, recovery and healing. So strong work for getting to this step! Therapy is a process, and it takes strength, vulnerability, and trust to get to where you want to be. I was drawn to the field of social work with the desire to listen to others’ stories in hopes of being able to more adeptly assist them in coping with and feeling empowered to address their day-to-day in spite of their struggles or traumas. I have spent nearly ten years working as a licensed clinical social worker in the hospital setting where I have worked with families, young adults, and older adults who come from multicultural backgrounds and LGBTQ+ identities with varying levels of mental health struggles including depression, anxiety, substance use issues, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I have spent these years dedicating my time to supporting those dealing with chronic health issues, managing life after a cancer diagnosis, learning how to engage in life after trauma(s), coping with mental health challenges while balancing careers and relationships, and learning how to live with various forms of grief. My commitment is to create a safe and supportive space for you to work through your challenges so that you can feel more confident and empowered to move forward.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
