Psychotherapist

You may be carrying the weight of past experiences — feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or struggling to move forward. Whatever you're facing, I'll meet you with honesty, warmth, and a little humor. We'll work toward your goals as a team, with care tailored to your unique needs and shaped by an understanding that our circumstances and the world around us deeply affect us. I approach every client with an open mind — recognizing that your background, identity, and lived experience are central to who you are and how we'll work together. This is a safe space, and all are welcome here. I provide therapy in a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can process difficult experiences and discover your own strength. I'll be direct — expect to be gently challenged. Together we'll work on dismantling negative core beliefs, shifting unhelpful thought patterns, building healthy boundaries, and finding coping skills that actually fit your life. Our first session is about you. I'll walk you through what to expect & your rights as a client, and you'll have space to ask questions. Building trust and rapport makes the work possible -so we'll begin laying that foundation while I gather some important background. My goal is that when you leave, you feel heard, understood, hopeful that growth is possible.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide trauma-informed therapy in a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can process your life experiences. My approach is empathetic, honest, and straightforward. Together we’ll build healthy coping skills, challenge negative self-beliefs, and strengthen boundaries while working toward healing and resilience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, I’ll explain what to expect in therapy, including confidentiality and your rights as a client. You’ll have space to ask questions, share what brings you to therapy, and explore your goals. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, with the goal of building trust and creating a collaborative partnership. I help clients challenge negative thinking and cognitive distortions, building awareness of their strengths and resilience. It takes courage to reach out for help—if you’re ready to feel more like yourself, I’d be honored to support you.
