I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia for six years. My approach Truth be told, I use techniques and skills from various approaches. I have extensive training in CBT and DBT, and I am also trained in Prolonged Exposure therapy to address trauma. My focus I have worked with individuals ages 14 to 99 and am trained to support those dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, BPD, women’s health, stress management, communication, and trauma. My first session with you Let’s get to know each other. You won’t need to share your entire history during the initial session. We will identify and discuss current stressors, examine past stressors and/or trauma, and assess how these impact your daily functioning. This is the best time for me to ensure I can provide the quality therapy you need.
