Getting to know Adi Levy

Congratulations on taking a difficult but important step towards improving your mental health! My name is Adi, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from California State University. I have 13 years of experience working with high-functioning individuals who are struggling with a variety of mental health issues, ranging from depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem to relationship difficulties, childhood trauma, addiction, and self-injurious behavior. These challenges often lead to a lack of confidence, social withdrawal, and isolation, making the healing process feel hopeless and defeating. I believe that healing and recovery do not happen in isolation and cannot be done alone—that is why I am here to help. My approach to therapy is eclectic and collaborative, utilizing multiple modalities and theories to assist individuals in the process of healing and self-discovery. I believe that gaining an understanding of underlying issues in a safe and supportive environment is the most effective way to achieve awareness and create change. My goal is to build a positive and collaborative relationship that will support you on your journey toward achieving your goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Since the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic relationship, I begin by focusing on creating a safe environment where trust can grow. The first session will help determine whether we are a good fit for working together, and if we both agree we will schedule subsequent sessions. The focus of our work will be mainly determined by you. After all, you are the expert when it comes to your personal experience. My role will be to guide you, assist you with the exploration of your thoughts and feelings, and provide support, education, and tools to help you better understand yourself and your personal experiences. Our work together will result in awareness, acceptance, forgiveness, and healing that will allow you to achieve the therapeutic goals and personal growth you are seeking.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
