Maybe the world has lost its color or you have lost your path. Perhaps the past still permeates your present in ways that feel impossible to shake. If you are tired of the constant friction of trying to prove your worth or please everyone around you, I am here to offer a different way forward. In our work together, you will find a rare space to show up exactly as you are—without the need for striving. My clients often find that as they stop fighting themselves, they gain the power to change. They have extricated themselves from suffocating patterns, discovered a deep sense of their own “inner goodness,” and learned to move through the world with authentic personal power. How do we get there? We work experientially. Every session is an invitation to encounter yourself deeply and experience your emotions differently in the present moment. This isn’t just talk; it’s a practice of opening up new ways of being. I am ready when you are. Let’s begin. Aditi Shah is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #141063) currently employed at Process Therapy Institute. She holds a Master's degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and is supervised by Svetlana Kreimer, LPC #53525.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I see my work as an offering of unconditional acceptance with the hope that it helps you relax into your own inner goodness. From that place, we welcome awareness and compassion into every nook and cranny of your unique life experience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The Power of the Present Moment Healing doesn’t happen in the past or the future; it happens right now. I invite you to engage with your present-moment experience—sometimes through mindfulness and body awareness, and other times through playfulness or movement. By bringing your attention into the “here and now,” we can work with your feelings as they actually arise, rather than just talking about them in the abstract. Deepening Awareness In every conversation or exercise, my goal is to help you “notice” yourself. This isn’t just about intellectual understanding; it’s about developing a keen, felt sense of how you move through the world. As your self-awareness expands, your world grows larger—giving you more clarity and more freedom to choose how you want to show up. Radical Self Acceptance I firmly believe that change isn’t something you force; it’s something that unfolds when you finally feel safe enough to accept yourself. Often, our greatest struggles show us exactly where we have stopped being kind to ourselves. In our sessions, we don’t push past your resistance—we honor it. By exploring these difficult places with compassion, we move toward a state of peace that allows for natural change. You are always in the driver’s seat; my role is to provide the safe harbor for that exploration.
