What should a new client know about working with you?

My communication style is open, warm, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe space where you feel comfortable expressing yourself honestly, without fear of judgment. I believe in active listening, so I’ll always take the time to understand your concerns and validate your feelings. Whether we're discussing challenges or celebrating progress, I aim to foster a dialogue that is compassionate, respectful, and empowering. My goal is to build trust and work together toward the best solutions for you. My journey to becoming a provider started with a deep curiosity about human behavior and a passion for helping others through difficult times. Early in my career, I realized how powerful it is to support individuals in finding their strength and resilience, especially during moments of vulnerability. I pursued my education and training as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a focus on therapeutic approaches that are holistic and client-centered. Throughout my career, I’ve been privileged to work with a diverse range of clients, which has only deepened my commitment to creating a safe and healing space for those seeking guidance. I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling, balanced life, and I’m passionate about helping people get there.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I help clients identify and clarify their goals through open discussions about their values, challenges, and what they hope to achieve. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan with clear, actionable steps that feel realistic and achievable. I believe in regularly checking in on progress, adjusting goals as needed, and celebrating even small victories along the way. By providing practical tools, fostering self-awareness, and offering ongoing support, I empower clients to make lasting change and work towards the life they envision. In our first session, my main goal is to get to know you and understand what brought you to therapy. We'll have a conversation about your current concerns, goals, and any relevant background information, so I can get a clear picture of where you're coming from. I’ll make sure to create a comfortable and nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace. You can also ask me any questions you may have about the process, and we’ll discuss how we can work together moving forward. By the end of our first session, we’ll have a plan in place for how we can begin addressing your needs and taking steps toward your goals.
