Getting to know Adriane Alexander

My name is Adriane Alexander, and I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw. I would describe my approach to therapy as relatable and genuine. My focus areas include depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and other everyday problems that clients may face. My approach I prioritize making sure my clients feel safe. I believe that what we need is "already in us." Sometimes, we just need a listening ear and support to bring it out. My focus I typically work with clients experiencing a variety of issues. I am comfortable treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief, relationship challenges, workplace stress, and women’s issues. My communication style I cannot stress enough how important it is for clients to feel safe during our sessions. I want clients to trust me. Many have told me they appreciate that our sessions are a "judgment-free" zone. My journey to therapy I have always known I wanted to work with people. Over the past 10 years, I have worked in a range of settings, providing mental health and support services to individuals facing many concerns. Helping someone navigate their journey through life is what drives me. My goals for you I like to use a realistic approach when setting goals with clients. Goals can always be revisited and adjusted as needed. My first session with you During our first session, you can expect a safe space to talk about what brought you to therapy. You are also welcome to ask any questions you may have. I like to provide an overview of what to expect during sessions to help you feel comfortable.
