Adrienne Birt, LSW

Adrienne Birt, LSW

Psychotherapist
363 W Drake Rd, Ste 1, Fort Collins, CO
I'm a provisionally licensed social worker (LSW), and I bring over a decade of professional trauma-informed caregiving experience to my practice. I believe healing happens in relationship and that belief shows up in every part of my life. With both biological and non-biological children in home, I know the joys and the exhaustion that come with caregiving. I am passionate about supporting other caregivers, foster families, adoptive families, and anyone who shows up for others. I actively work to be anti-oppressive because I recognize that structural oppression is woven into mental health struggles. My hope is to empower you to build real skills for emotional regulation while we dig into the root causes behind the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed. I am a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner with a background in yoga and meditation. I believe the body holds wisdom worth listening to, and that you have the medicine to heal within you. This strengths-based framework shapes how I think about healing, connection, and identity and it's a natural fit for adults and adolescents who are ready to feel safe in themselves and proud of who they are.
