Adrienne Wilson, LPC

Psychotherapist
TN
Hi there, I'm Adrienne! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC-MHSP), and I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full self—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out. My focus I work with children, youth, young adults, adults, and families who may be navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, difficult life transitions, family concerns, self-esteem, boundaries, or simply trying to understand themselves and/or their behavior patterns on a deeper level. My approach My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized. Therapy with me is not about telling you what to do—it’s about helping you gain insight, build confidence in your own decision-making, and develop healthier ways of thinking, coping, communicating, and relating to yourself My communication style You can expect compassion and encouragement from me, but also honesty and accountability. I enjoy helping clients dig beneath the surface, understand the “why” behind their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and identify practical ways to move forward. And yes, there may be some laughter along the way! My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist began with a genuine interest in understanding myself and the people closest to me. I wanted to know more about how our individual experiences shape us, why we develop certain patterns, and what helps us heal and grow. My goals for you I am an active participant in the therapeutic process. I will listen, ask thoughtful questions, offer feedback, and help you recognize patterns or perspectives that may be difficult to see on your own. I believe in validating your experiences while also gently challenging you when doing so can support your growth.
