Following her postgraduate studies, she continued to work as a case manager and therapist with children, adolescents, families, and adults. She is skilled in diagnostic evaluation, psychoeducation, and the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) to treat anxiety, trauma, stress, behavioral difficulties, and depression. Aimee has extensive understanding and experience working with individuals who are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She looks forward to continuing to support those navigating life transitions, women's issues, individuals seeking validation while exploring different perspectives, those struggling with anxiety, searching for answers and healing from traumatic experiences, and people seeking support with executive functioning challenges, sensory challenges, or difficult social interactions. I used Zocdoc because I thought it was convenient. It is not. My appointment was not documented by the office because they said one was never confirmed. When I said I booked through Zocdoc, they said I needed to do a telehealth visit when I wanted and was able to choose an in-person appointment. If the office requires a phone call to confirm a visit, then what's the point of the app? It defeats the purpose to have an app if I still have to talk to someone on the phone. The app experience is not as seamless as advertised. Furthermore, the office said they don't offer in-person anywhere in Maryland, so why did they wind up on the filtered list for in-person appointments? I wasted time today and I won't use Zocdoc again.
