Getting to know Aisha Alston

Kudos to you for recognizing the need to focus on your overall well-being, including your mental health. At the beginning of therapy, many individuals often feel overwhelmed with various emotions, especially when talking to a stranger about their concerns. I seek to make my clients feel welcomed and heard by working with them to identify past and present life events and the impact they have on their internal and external interactions. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles related to anxiety, depression, and self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication and boundaries with themselves and those around them, which can improve their quality of life. Counseling sets the stage for self-awareness, healing, grieving, and feeling empowered, which can lead to change and growth. What you allow will continue, and change is a personal choice. If you're ready to challenge yourself and create the life you want, I look forward to working with you. I hold a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you on your journey toward mental wellness.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
