Are you carrying trauma, anxiety, or a sense of self you feel like you've had to figure out entirely on your own? You don't have to keep doing that alone. I come from a large family and learned from individuals with different personalities and gifts. I learned how unique everyone was at a young age and it made me curious about what makes people different. I was an observer, often a mediator, and an advocate. Growing up this way set the stage for a career in mental health. It gave me the curiosity to understand others, the heart to encourage compassion for people's challenges as well as their gifts, and the passion to help them become who they authentically are. I'm certified in EMDR and integrate ACT, CBT, DBT, and somatic approaches to bring the body and mind into the healing process. My priority is creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely heard.

My priority is creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely heard.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm certified in EMDR and integrate ACT, CBT, DBT, and somatic approaches to bring the body and mind into the healing process. My approach is compassionate, informative, collaborative, and down to earth. Creating a space where you feel safe and supported is always my priority. You won't find judgment here, only curiosity about what makes you who you are, including the parts of yourself you're still learning to understand. Together, we'll work toward building a sense of self that feels grounded, authentic, and sustainable, and a life that feels beautifully yours.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

You can expect to be heard with curiosity, compassion, and respect from the very first session. I'll ask about what's bringing you into therapy, what you're hoping to get out of it, and what you feel you need, and we'll address any concerns you have about being in the space together. During our first session, I'll invite you to share your history and your symptoms at a pace that feels encouraging and comfortable for you. There's no pressure to have it all figured out right away.
