Psychotherapist
800 Wilshire Blvd, #530, Los Angeles, CA
I became a therapist because I know firsthand the power of therapy to transform lives. In my early 20s, I felt lost and overwhelmed, and working with a compassionate therapist helped me gain clarity, heal, and build a life aligned with my values. That experience inspired me to dedicate my life to supporting others through their own challenges. For the past 15 years, I’ve been honored to walk alongside individuals seeking healing, growth, and deeper connection in their lives. I earned my MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, an MA in Education from Harvard University, and a BA in Economics from Stanford University. I have also taught at UC Berkeley and served as a teaching fellow at Harvard University. Outside of my work, I enjoy sharing life with my wife, Liz—also a therapist—and being part of a community of healers in Southern California. I believe therapy is not only about helping individuals but also about creating ripples of compassion, resilience, and change in families and communities. Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing therapy sessions. I do not provide medication management support.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply personal using an interpersonal approach. I believe that your pain, while difficult, can be a portal to greater meaning, motivation, and purpose. In our work together, I will meet you where you are, help you uncover the roots of your suffering, and support you in moving toward greater alignment with your values and relationships. I view therapy as a partnership, where we create a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore challenges, clarify goals, and foster resilience. My goal is to help you feel more understood, more connected, and more empowered to create the life you want.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I begin by creating a safe, supportive space where you can share your story and what brings you to therapy. In our first sessions, I take time to understand your history, current challenges, and what goals you’d like to work toward. Together, we’ll develop a plan that fits your needs, whether it’s building coping strategies, exploring patterns, or working through past experiences. As we move forward, I check in regularly about how the process feels and adjust our work as needed. I see therapy as a collaborative journey—one where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful changes in your life. My goal is to help you move toward greater clarity, resilience, and connection, both with yourself and with others.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
