Life can be unpredictable, and adjusting to life transitions presents unique challenges that may be difficult to navigate. We have all experienced challenges that may cause feelings of uncertainty, confusion, abandonment, emptiness, isolation, irritability, or moments of frustration. Healing is possible, and I am happy that you have taken the first step toward living the “sweet spot” of your life. I will always offer a warm, inviting, and collaborative space to share and explore your story, reflecting on the patterns of past and present challenges leading you toward renewal, growth, and a value-driven life. My approach is eclectic, client-centered, and strengths-based, with attachment and trauma theories as the foundation. I have extensive experience implementing evidence-based modalities to effectively treat anxiety, depression, and other behavioral health disorders, as well as trauma, substance abuse, family conflict, life transitions, and relationship issues. I incorporate my specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness-based strategies to discover the internal strengths and hidden blockages necessary to promote healing. We will work collaboratively to customize a tailor-made therapeutic approach to cultivate your journey of holistic wellness. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Master’s in Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Spelman College. You are the expert with the power to heal and transform into the best version of yourself. I offer a free 15-minute consultation and look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and living the “sweet spot” of your life.
