Getting to know Alane Burgess

Hello! My name is Alane, and it is a pleasure to meet you! I have been a Licensed Mental Health Clinician since 2004 and began my career in 2002 working as a Court Clinician. In this role, I worked with individuals placed on probation for substance use or anger-management/domestic-related offenses. Over the past 22 years, I have held roles in direct patient care—working with patients both individually and in group settings—clinical supervision of staff, and program management for community-based outpatient mental health and substance use clinics. I have also worked with organizations that provide MAT (Methadone, Suboxone/Buprenorphine, Vivitrol) for those seeking recovery from opioid and/or alcohol dependency. I am highly knowledgeable about court-ordered programs, such as 1st, 2nd, or multiple DUI offenses, and skilled in conducting substance use and mental health assessments. I specialize in working with adults presenting with mental/emotional health issues, substance use/addiction, and life’s basic challenges. I am particularly skilled in supporting individuals with anxiety disorders, other mood-related disorders, and co-occurring disorders.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
