Getting to know Albert Sarno Jr

Hi there, I'm Albert! In my thriving practice, I counsel individuals and families-including military families, veterans, couples, and others-using a Christian approach if desired. I provide the best-practice tools and techniques needed to instill joy in your relationships so you can live a satisfying and fulfilled life. Together, we will work toward accomplishing the goals you seek, using down-to-earth, conversational language to help you feel calm and relaxed. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My approach I am gifted in helping people find meaning and purpose in life. With more than four decades of counseling experience, I specialize in helping people overcome addictions, anxiety disorders, and PTSD/CPTSD. I also serve as an Associate Professor at Liberty University Online, Department of Community Care and Counseling, School of Behavioral Sciences. I facilitate my classes much like my counseling sessions-to help people find their zest for life. My focus Since there is no one-size-fits-all approach to counseling, I am well-versed in adapting tools and techniques to fit each client, not the other way around. My research continually focuses on finding the best practices for mental health treatment. I earned my PhD in Human Services from Capella University and hold a Master's degree from Nova Southeastern University. I look forward to working with you to create a path toward healing and fulfillment.
