Psychotherapist
CA
We all want to feel more secure, stable, and essentially "good enough," but the uncertainties of life can throw us off balance. We are not broken. I believe that therapy provides the much-needed insight and awareness to help us on the journey of growth and self-acceptance. It is through this therapeutic relationship that we can transform our perceptions of ourselves and develop more positive coping skills, better self-care, and new thought patterns. It is my passion to create a warm, calm, safe space in which clients feel comfortable exploring the negative thoughts and stressful situations life can bring. My approach to therapy is one of collaboration and emotional support based on open communication, respect, and non-judgment. You are the expert in your own life. I sincerely believe that we all have the potential for a balanced life with a little guidance and support. As a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino, I seek to provide that guidance to empower my clients to develop independence, decisiveness, and confidence. I specialize in working with college-aged students, transitional-aged youth ages 18 to 26, and women dealing with issues including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, career conflict, and general stress.

What should a new client know about working with you?

It is common to feel a range of emotions after your initial therapy session. Some initial feelings may include uncertainty and discomfort. This is likely a result of being open and vulnerable with another person. In addition, you may feel relieved and energetic having had the opportunity to process some of your feelings and be seen and heard by another person. As the therapeutic relationship grows and trust is built, it is my sincere hope that we will be able to work together to identify and make progress toward some of your personal goals and work through any roadblocks along the way.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
