Hi there, I'm Alexander! I have been working with adolescents, young adults, and adults within the community mental health setting for 10 years. I meet clients where they are by using a strengths-based approach to help navigate toward a successful and meaningful outcome in therapy. My approach I enjoy using a client-centered approach to help clients find what is most important to them. I use a variety of skills and strategies to fit the needs of my clients. My focus I work with adolescents ages 13 and older, along with young adults and adults of any age. I help my clients find and utilize their strengths to process anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. My communication style My communication style is calm and relaxed. I want clients to feel comfortable talking to me about anything without feeling judged. My journey to mental healthcare I worked in the community mental health setting as a case manager. My goal was not only to improve my skill set but also to give more back to my community. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Saint Leo University and eventually obtained my clinical social worker license. My goals for you My approach to goal setting is collaborative—I work with clients to create goals that they want to achieve. I like to involve things that are important to my clients in treatment. My first session with you The first session with me will be a relaxed conversation about how you’ve been feeling lately, with me asking questions to get to know you better. The goal of the first session is to build an initial connection and to find what you want to work on and what is most important to you.
