Getting to know Alexandra Bayo
Do you struggle with anxiety and depression? Do you feel stuck in old patterns? Are you curious about therapy, looking for support, or needing help? Taking the first step to start therapy can be intimidating, and finding the right fit can be difficult. My emphasis is on creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment to facilitate your internal healing and personal growth.
I am a bilingual (English-Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with many years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I currently work with adults using a person-centered approach, incorporating attachment-based and trauma-focused interventions tailored to each individual's needs. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from California Lutheran University.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I facilitate individualized therapy, based on the client's needs & preferences. My work is centered on developing a collaborative relationship with the client. I utilize a conversational approach geared to find the client's personal strengths, promote insight & help the client find their own solutions to make appropriate changes in their lives.
Over the course of therapy, you will process your thoughts & feelings to understand your symptoms & the dynamic of your emotional reactions. You will also spend time learning more adaptable skills of managing emotions & relationships.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Alex is warm and trusting. She is helping me to become more powerful and have healthy boundaries. I have been needing somebody to talk with and in just a few meetings, Alex has helped me to open up about the pain I have experienced and I am excited for her continued support.
