Hi there, I'm Alexandra! Struggling with feelings of hopelessness and feeling stuck? You are not alone. I help clients navigate anxiety, self-doubt, and relationship issues. My goal is to increase your confidence in handling uncomfortable feelings and situations to get you closer to an enjoyable life. My approach I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify and restructure unhelpful thoughts. My approach is adaptive and collaborative, giving you new tools and new ways to think to help you feel more in control. Part of my adaptiveness is offering alternative ways, other than CBT, to support you in your progress. My focus Fighting with racing, anxious, or ruminating thoughts? I work with adults of all ages struggling with difficult life situations, challenging relationships, and self-esteem related to anxiety and depression. We'll work together to create a plan that will support you in building coping skills and increasing your self-resiliency. My communication style I value clear and open communication to provide a place of safety, support, and non-judgmental. I practice active listening and using questions to evoke thought and personal insight. You can expect a sense of calm and patience from me throughout the sessions. My journey to mental healthcare I believe everyone desires to live their best life, however that may look. This is what drew me to therapy was the ability to witness the strength and positive change people are able to make, even when they don't feel like they are capable.
