Getting to know Alexia Burton

Hi there, I'm Alexia. Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, workplace stress, chronic pain, or past trauma? I specialize in treating individuals with these concerns. As your therapist, I strive to help you live a life of peace, freedom, and all the things you imagine for yourself and your life. My treatment and interventions work to integrate the mind and body into therapy, using somatic techniques. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I also have advanced training in Somatic Trauma Therapy and Sex Therapy/Sexual Health.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work to create a safe, nonjudgemental, healing, and empowering therapeutic space for my clients. I use a holistic and person-centered framework to provide specialized mental and emotional health treatment.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
