My name is Alexis Barnes-Scott, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 12 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. I earned my degree from East Carolina University and have dedicated my career to supporting clients as they build healthier relationships and create meaningful, lasting change. My areas of specialization include relational concerns, trauma, women's issues, and the management of stress and anxiety. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our beloved 15-year-old dog, Bella, and my 1-year-old dog, Jackson. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
