Getting to know Alfred Tabaks
I am the founder and lead LPC at Greater Restoration Counseling. I utilize different techniques and methods tailored to the individual, encouraging each client to be their authentic self in order to achieve the best results.
I specialize in depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. I am also trauma-trained and have worked with many individuals dealing with PTSD. I offer a welcoming, warm, and safe environment where clients can feel comfortable sharing their stories with me.
I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Dallas Baptist University and completed my internship at Holman Family Services, which helped deepen my skills and understanding.

Mr. Tabaks has been my therapist for a very long time now and he has been consistent, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in many aspects of my life.
With his help, I have been able to develop better coping mechanisms, and I have been equipped with tools to build my self confidence.
He has also been instrumental, in helping me deal with the fallout after my divorce. Without his guidance, my adjustment would have been significantly more difficult than it was.
Honestly, I’m just deeply grateful for his support.

My 14 year old son enjoys his visits! Alfred has always been kind and supportive. He starts each session promptly and communicates well through text for billing or to give me feedback. My son and I appreciate having the extra support!
