Alice Loomis, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
In this world, we face trials and challenges of various kinds that can leave us feeling confused, disheartened, anxious, lost, and sometimes even hopeless. Know that you are not alone and certainly do not have to face these struggles alone. Using an integrative and goal-oriented approach, I strive to walk alongside those seeking healing, growth, and transformational change. I have experience working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, past trauma, negative self-concept, and relationship issues. I have also supported couples toward restoration and reconciliation, resolving communication and marital challenges. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Fullerton, and am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and biblical counseling. Additionally, I incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman’s Rapoport Intervention, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) to empower clients to challenge irrational beliefs and communicate and manage emotions, needs, thoughts, and behaviors in healthier, more realistic ways. I recognize the importance of faith and spirituality and how they can deeply impact one’s worldview. I offer Christian/Biblical counseling to those seeking faith integration in their therapeutic journey. Finding a good fit for a therapist is crucial for healing and can sometimes feel overwhelming. Don’t hesitate to reach out for a free virtual consultation—I look forward to the privilege of supporting you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
