Alice is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She began working in mental health as a para-professional in 1993 and received her Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is licensed through the state of Texas. When individuals of any age experience life stressors or trauma, they may feel like their life has become unfocused, out of balance, or unhinged. Her passion is to bring healing to individuals, couples, and families as they navigate these experiences. She helps clients of all ages find healthy perceptions of themselves so they can know themselves as whole, content, fulfilled, and safe individuals. She realizes that ?one size does NOT fit all? in therapy, so she has been trained in a range of modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, guided imagery, ego state interventions, bilateral stimulation, and sand tray therapy. She is also a Love and Logic Parenting Program facilitator. Alice has worked with all ages on many different issues, including domestic violence, sexual abuse, drug issues, anxiety disorders (PTSD), depression, parenting skills, personality disorders, crisis intervention, and marital relations.
