Getting to know Alicia Glenn

Hi there, I'm Alicia! My name is Alicia Glenn, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) located in Murrieta, California, serving clients via Telehealth throughout California. I hold a Master’s in Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix. I am passionate about working with adults and adolescents in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and daily stress. My preferred approach to therapy is client-centered, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and adaptive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, incorporating other approaches that meet each client’s needs in the moment. My approach I believe each client is an individual with unique needs and desires. I work in partnership with each client to understand their current challenges and how they manage stress. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and an adaptive approach to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, my goal is to equip clients with skills to increase their capacity to manage their mental health and safely explore the sources of emotional stress in their lives. Together, we embark on a journey of healing and self-awareness toward cultivating their ideal self. My focus In my experience, my style and approach resonate well with teens and adults navigating major life transitions and seeking to overcome social and emotional challenges. These often present as anxiety, depression, grief, confusion, and decreased self-value. I journey with my clients through these experiences, assisting in building self-understanding and mastery through validation and teaching “life survival skills” that foster increased confidence and a more positive outlook on life. My communication style I strive to provide a space where each client feels as though they are talking to someone they have known forever.
