Getting to know Alicia Gomez
I work with children, teens, adults, and families in both school and clinical settings, supporting them through academic and social stress, emotional regulation challenges, trauma recovery, and life transitions. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in the mind–body connection. I integrate mindfulness and practical coping strategies to help you build resilience, navigate challenges with greater confidence, and move toward greater balance and well-being. As a woman of Mexican heritage, I bring thoughtful awareness to how culture, family history, and community shape each person’s experience. I am dedicated to providing individualized, strengths-based care that honors your unique story and supports meaningful, lasting change.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
When you are ready to get started, schedule an initial assessment visit (intake) through Zocdoc. After you book an appointment, a care coordinator will reach out to review your method of payment and/or insurance number and answer any initial questions you may have before our first visit.
