“I’ve had a great experience working with Alicia! She provides such a welcoming environment and I feel so safe sharing things in her presence! I started close to 6 months ago now, and after my first nerve racking appointment I’ve felt such a relief coming in! She’s helped me view situations in a different perspective, but most importantly validates my feelings. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to start therapy!”

She feels it is her privilege to guide individuals on this journey of health and healing. Alicia specializes in healing and recovery for children and adolescents affected by trauma, as well as servicing populations impacted by adoption. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which has allowed her to transform the lives of children and families. Alicia is also certified as an Adoption Competent Mental Health Professional and has worked in the child welfare system, feeling a deep connection to the children and then adults who survive a history of complex trauma. She also holds advanced training in Motivational Interviewing. Alicia has experience treating depression, anxiety, mood issues, and family systems. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys playing the piano and engaging in intentional movement that fosters the mind/body connection. She adores her teddy bear fur baby and grown son – cheering them on as they learn who they are and seek out what brings them happiness.
