Hello, I'm Alina. As your therapist, I can help you navigate through difficult life events and empower you in finding healing through those challenges. I tailor my therapeutic approach to use your strengths and work collaboratively with you to help reach your goals. Therapy can be both exciting and scary at the same time; however, the possibilities are endless when you choose to invest in yourself and your growth. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Colorado, Denver, with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. Now, as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC), as well as being trained in Brainspotting and EMDR, I have been working with clients experiencing symptoms from big and small traumas, relationship issues, depression, as well as addictions. I have been a clinical supervisor for the past 12 years, supporting new clinicians in the field and have been in private practice for over 16 years. I primarily work with adults using both Solution-Focused and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, as well as having a trauma-informed lens when working through the various issues that show up. When patterns that once worked no longer feel fulfilling, or life events leave you feeling disconnected, I work collaboratively with you to identify what’s holding you back and take meaningful steps forward. I don’t believe therapy is just about insight—it’s about change. Together, we’ll move out of unhelpful cycles and toward a life that feels more aligned, grounded, and authentic.
