Alisha Manning, LCSW

Alisha Manning, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. I have 10 years of clinical social work experience and worked in community mental health, telehealth, and field-based services with some of the most vulnerable populations, assisting with issues that include trauma, personality disorders, chronic mental illness, and mood disorders. Working for the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health as a licensed clinical social worker also presented me with the opportunity to work with single mothers dealing with a variety of issues such as perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, intergenerational trauma, and issues balancing work and family life responsibilities. In my time as a helping professional, I developed an eclectic style that includes: Cognitive Behavioral theories, family systems, trauma-focused, and mindfulness practices. I am passionate about cultivating a space for exploration, healing, and personal growth in order to help individuals achieve their goals of mental well-being. I am a therapist at Octave, a behavioral health practice creating a new standard for mental health care that’s both high-quality and accessible.
