“Allison is truly one of a kind. She's so encouraging and always takes time to celebrate my growth and accomplishments, no matter how small they might seem. She makes me feel seen, heard, and never too much which is something I've struggled with in the past. Her presence is so warm and genuine that it honestly feels like talking to a close friend (but with incredible insight and support). I leave each session feeling more grounded and hopeful. I'm so grateful for the space she holds for me.”

“Allison Bodie is an incredible therapist. She’s always able to keep me on track, even with my mind racing at 1,000 miles an hour, and reminds me to be kind to myself as I’m just human. She’s very experienced with folks who are LGBT and neurodivergent and I greatly appreciate and value that. Overall, a very talented therapist and a kind, empathetic human being.”

Great experience so far. She checks in to make sure she is still the right fit.

Always a great listener
Allison Bodie is an incredible therapist. She’s always able to keep me on track, even with my mind racing at 1,000 miles an hour, and reminds me to be kind to myself as I’m just human. Alison is a great provider. She is affirming and really seems to understand my brain and my situation. I have never had a provider who I could relate to more. She is able to navigate the difficult line between helping me to give myself grace and understanding, while also discouraging me from using my problems as an excuse or against others. She is also able to support me in discovering and finding solutions to my own problems or maladaptive thoughts, rather than just telling me what to do, which, in my opinion, is a much more fulfilling and beneficial process. She always listens to me and is able to understand my message as well as when I am serious or something is very concerning to me. We always work on what I want to work on, she does not push me in a certain direction and is happy to change her plans to suit me. I always leave sessions feeling good and more hopeful about whatever situations I have discussed.
Allison has helped me navigate trauma from my young adult life that impacts the way I move through life everyday. They have given me tremendous support in unlearning patterns that don't serve me and create a space for me to openly be me.
I really appreciate their approach to therapy. It's been helpful having someone hold space for you when you're reliving childhood trauma and how that may be affecting your day to day as an adult. They are kind even on the more challenging questions and/or situations, which helps give space to you as the client to work through the answer in your own time during the appointment.
She is so understanding and so nice .
I go off gut feeling. I met Alison session 1 and knew she was my therapist. They are a very genuine and lovely human. It seeps out of their pores. You can’t help but feel seen, safe, and cared for. Then on top of that they are so intelligent. She is well versed in different approaches and techniques. I love that she also asks me which approach I think is most effective for me. They have helped me navigate through a variety of situations and topics, religious trauma, gender identity, separating from my husband (now ex), parental abuse, anxiety, and so many other branches from these topics. They show all the emotional support I could never have known to ask for and then help me find the best/healthiest way forward. If you’re looking for inclusive, supportive, solution finding, and a 200% safe space kind of therapist, Alison is your person. And if she isn’t, they will help you find someone else who might better align with your needs/goals. 10/10 recommend!
