What should a new client know about working with you?

I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from modalities such as CBT, Somatic Experiencing, and Expressive Arts Therapy, among others. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs, goals, and experiences. My style is relational, compassionate, experiential, and genuine. I believe that healing happens within a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship, so I strive to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and comfortable being yourself. While we may explore difficult emotions and challenges, I bring humor in the therapy room when appropriate, as it can bring perspective, connection, and moments of relief. Sessions are typically conversational rather than overly clinical. I intentionally avoid excessive jargon so that our work feels accessible, engaging, and grounded in your lived experience. Beyond simply talking about problems, I aim to help you connect more deeply with your emotions, body, and inner wisdom. Through experiential work, we can access deeper patterns and processes that support meaningful and lasting change.
