Getting to know Allison Rauscher

I work with children ages 3-10 years old as well as adult females 18+. If you or your child are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relational struggles, emotional regulation issues, and need a space to process, you are in the right place! I work from a strengths based, client centered- relational approach. I utilize play based interventions for children, which research has shown is very effective to process and heal from difficult experiences. For adults I utilize a variety of modalities and provide a place for you to work on your goals. For 11 years I worked in a hospital as a Child Life Specialist. I received my Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling in 2017 from Grand Canyon University, and am a Licensed Counselor in the state of Colorado. I also have experience working in Early Intervention, home based therapy, and schools. I am trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy as well as a Circle of Security facilitator. We will collaborate together on your goals in therapy. I provide a warm atmosphere where you can share your struggles and story. I appreciate utilizing humor and creating a trusting environment where I will strive to make you feel safe and heard. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
