Allison Rentz, LPC

Allison Rentz, LPC

Psychotherapist
VA
The world we live in, both external and internal, can at times seem impossible to navigate. How does one navigate life stressors, past trauma, depression, and/or anxiety, especially if coping tools were not necessarily modeled to us growing up? I can help provide support and be a guide through your mental health journey. In 2010, I graduated from Argosy University Atlanta with a master’s degree in Community Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I have worked with individuals of all ages in various settings such as a child advocacy center, in-home therapy, psychiatric hospital, private practice, and on a military base. I currently work in managed care, in addition to seeing clients for individual therapy. I primarily work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma. My focus is on adults and from a trauma-informed and cognitive behavioral therapy approach. By identifying how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are intertwined, you can begin to gain insight and awareness and facilitate change. I strive to provide a trusting therapeutic relationship and environment where you feel safe and heard. Wishing you all the best on your journey!
