If using insurance, upload clear photos of the front and back of your insurance card. 3. Expect a confirmation call from our team to verify your information and answer questions. CANCELLATION POLICY: Provide 48 hours advance notice to avoid the $135 late cancellation fee. Hello, my name is Allison. I am an LPC licensed in Texas. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling at Houston Baptist University in 2019. While gaining my experience hours, I worked in both the hospital and private practice setting at the height of the pandemic. I have served patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, both adolescents and adults across the lifespan, with mental health and substance abuse treatment. I have experience helping those with trauma, chronic health issues, LGBTQ+ and cultural concerns, and those struggling with recent life changes such as divorce, loss of a loved one, etc. I utilize the DBT framework as it addresses changes clients may want to make as well as sharing skills that will help with acceptance, and the irreverent style still provides empathy and care allowing for clients to feel heard and not talked at. I also utilize CBT, ACT, EMDR, as well as addressing the mind-body connection.
