Hi there, I'm Allyson! I am so proud that you have made this step. I'm glad you are here. There is a reason you are here, and I understand how vulnerable this can be. It is so brave that you have started this process and are ready to begin your healing journey. My name is Allyson Stephens, and I specialize in trauma-informed care. I have personally healed from generational trauma and done my work to better understand myself and how trauma impacts the body and mind. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you on this path.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The goal is always to make sure you feel comfortable and on the same page when we are working together. I will help provide emotional awareness, skills, and information on what can help you move forward on problems you are experiencing. I think it is important for you to feel safe in sessions with me and I hope when you leave you are feeling acknowledged and validated.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
