Getting to know Alyce Watts

Hello. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to you. My name is Alyce, and I am a licensed clinical social worker in Georgia and Alabama. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Alabama. I'm wondering if you have situations in your life that feel overwhelming and difficult to manage. Perhaps you are feeling down, anxious, or just overloaded. It can be a challenge to cope effectively when you have numerous areas to balance in your life. Whatever you are experiencing, I am here to offer support, understanding, and solution-focused skills to help you grow and move forward. It can be difficult to reach out to a therapist, and I believe it will help to know that I am motivated by my genuine love for people. I have a strong, personal commitment to provide a compassionate approach, taking time to truly get to know you and understand your situation. You are not alone as you work to improve your life. I will be with you and will join you in the important work of moving forward and improving your life!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I will be a great fit for your needs if you are looking to improve your life in the following ways: • by taking an active role in identifying and understanding your strengths and needs • by developing an awareness of established coping skills and patterns that are working and not working in your life • by learning and utilizing specific strategies to support your wellness, • and by gaining knowledge and skills that will lead to healthy coping skills in your current situation as well as in future situations In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other as we begin building a relationship that will ultimately feel comfortable and safe for you to open your life and share your experiences. I will ask guiding questions that will help me understand your situation so that I can utilize techniques that will best meet your needs.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
