Are you experiencing irritability, high stress, low motivation, sleep disturbances, or have you experienced any kind of event that you can't seem to move past? You might be exactly the person I'm looking to help! Let me help you become a happier, healthier version of yourself! My approach I believe that the body and brain hold onto experiences after certain events and might get hung up or even stuck. In my assessments, I determine how these impacts can reveal themselves in our behaviors and the decisions that we make every day. I work to help identify where the mind and body have gotten hung up, and I use an eclectic “whole person” approach to unraveling these barrier areas in life. Clients can expect to feel heard and to better understand themselves in sessions. Be prepared to learn about the mind and body, to better understand the emotions that follow. This understanding tends to bring relaxation and more peace to people as they experience life challenges. My focus I believe that our bodies hold onto all of our experiences, and after certain events, our bodies and brains might get hung up or stuck on something. I aim to help identify where the mind and body have gotten hung up and use an eclectic, whole-person approach to unraveling these areas in life. This can be done in person or via telehealth! My communication style I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient. My journey to mental healthcare I am a Clinical Social Worker who focuses on helping people who are experiencing anxiety or depression. I have been in this field for more than 10 years and love watching people I work with feel like they have control over their lives again.
