She believes in creating an open, comfortable, and understanding environment where clients can find the healing, courage, and hope they desire. Alyssa received a Bachelor of Social Work from Lewis University and a Master's in Social Work from Aurora University. She was formerly an ABA therapist for children on the Autism Spectrum and has experience working with children and adolescents through individual and family therapy. While Alyssa integrates a variety of clinical approaches to meet her clients' needs, she especially enjoys utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play and Expressive therapies, Solution-Focused therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Her approach helps clients identify areas of strength and access resources within themselves and their larger communities to support their treatment.
